Notice to Parents and Volunteers with 3069 (1 Field Ambulance) RCACC St. Albert
In the interest of protecting our Cadets, the Army Cadet League of Canada has established a Volunteer Screening Program, in conjunction with our partner, the Department of National Defence.
Volunteers with our 3069 Cadet Corp has to comply with The Army Cadet League of Canada - AB Branch Volunteer Registration.
In a nutshell, any person who may find themselves working alone with cadets who are on “cadet duty” as defined in “The Queen’s Regulations and Orders for the Canadian Cadet Organization”.
There are two exceptions:
1. Members of the Cadet Instructors Cadre (CIC) or Civilian Instructors (CI).
2. Volunteers or parents who occasionally drive cadets to and from organized activities do not need to be screened. The Army Cadet League has provided a Driver’s Log that records basic information and provides specific safety instructions for Drivers and Cadets.
If you wish to apply for a League Volunteer Identification Card please review the attached instructions and complete the attached forms. Once completed your package has to be turned to the 3069 (1 Field Ambulance) RCACC Commanding Officer, Captain Hattie for processing.

Once approved, the certificate is valid for 5 years.
